McMichael Studio Classes are designed to introduce and foster development of the basic techniques and tools of visual expression and to nurture the unique creativity of each participant.
Studio Courses and Workshops - On-going
Public Programs offers studio courses and workshops in a variety of media from drawing and painting to printmaking and photography. All of our instructors are both practicing artists and experienced educators. Courses are open to all levels of students from beginner to advanced, unless otherwise stated.

Watercolour Studio - Beginner Class, with Marlene Madole
This class is an introduction to the fundamentals of watercolour painting using wet-on-wet washes to build a painting with the techniques of glazing and direct painting.

This studio allows participants to work on a subject matter of their own choosing (for example: landscape, portrait, still life) under the guidance of instructor Lorne McDermott.
