Take a Walk on the Wild Side, Family Sunday

11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

p>Muskoka Wildlife Centre experts share their knowledge of the many wild creatures that inhabit Ontario's woods and their habitats. Drop in to a workshop to make a sketchbook and field-sketching workshops on the McMichael’s grounds.

Family Friendly Requires Registration Hands-on

Woodland Wonders, Accessible McMichael Family Art Program (Ages 10 and up)

Saturday, June 15
1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Participants will visit the Tom Thomson Shack, explore the McMichael's woodland grounds, and express themselves through sensory-based artmaking activities designed for various skill levels.

Vertical Challenge

Sunday, August 11
11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Aim high and land safely with a vertical adventure provided by the Black Rock Climbing Company. There will also be a special Survival Hike with Aboriginal Elder John Keeshig at 1:30 p.m. who will offer a teaching about nature’s resources.
