Fall Colours Hike with Humber Valley Heritage Trail Association (3.5 hours)
Sunday, October 14
Join leader Barry Westhead and the Humber Valley Heritage Trail Association on this amble for adults and children through forests, meadows, and the riversides of the Humber Valley. Starting at Boyd, the route follows the Humber River Valley, crossing several footbridges over the Humber River, traverses along the William Granger Greenway, and ends at the McMichael—just in time for our Diamond Jubilee celebration! The walking pace is easy and covers a distance of about eight kilometres. Wear a good pair of walking shoes or boots; bring water, a snack, and your camera.
The shuttle will leave the McMichael at 9:00 a.m. and drop off hikers at the Pierre and Janet Berton Trail in Boyd Conservation Area between 9:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. where the hike will commence north along the Granger Greenway.
Starts at Boyd Conservation Area
