This season, the McMichael is celebrating the extraordinary international success of the exhibition, Painting Canada: Tom Thomson and the Group of Seven. Gather with curators and academia this afternoon, beginning with a discussion panel offered by the exhibition curatorial team: from London, UK, Ian Dejardin, Director of Dulwich Picture Gallery; Dr. Anna Hudson, Associate Professor at York University; and Katerina Atanassova, McMichael’s Chief Curator; followed by a symposium with Canadian art scholars. The event is organized in collaboration with York University and generously sponsored by A.K. Prakash Foundation. Registration required.
