Let’s start the March Break fun with this unique celebration of the artistic contributions of the French-speaking Métis people of Canada. Build a small replica birch bark canoe with master canoe builder, Marcel Labelle.

Birch Bark Canoe Workshop Schedule
Founders' Lounge 12 to 1:30 pm and 2:30 to 4 pm
First come, first served. Class size 25 maximum. Doors open at 11:30am

Visit the theatre for a screening of the new documentary The Art of Being Métis: Through the Teaching of the Canoe. Finally, don’t miss a special 1:30 pm performance by the award-winning Métis Fiddler Quartet. All programming will be offered in both French and English, with elements of the Mitchif language.
