Canada Day Virtual Tours
Thursday, July 1
11:30 am, 1 pm & 2:30 pm
About the tours
The McMichael has dedicated Canada Day 2021 as a moment of reflection.
Through virtual tours of the McMichael’s current exhibitions, we invite all Canadians to view their country through artists’ eyes, bringing to life various historical, social and personal stories. Whether revisiting the narrative of the Group of Seven, exploring the powerful legacy of the African diaspora, or celebrating the vitality of Indigenous art past and present, this Canada Day the McMichael challenges participants to reconsider their personal vision of Canada.
Each virtual 60-minute tour will have a limited number of participants to allow for questions and discussion, so please register to ensure your spot.
An internet connection, microphone and camera-enabled computer, tablet or smartphone is required. The virtual tour will be delivered via the video conferencing app Zoom. You do not require a Zoom account to participate; the link to access the tour will be sent to you in advance.
