McMichael Family Paint Challenge

The Family Paint Challenge is an exhilarating experience for both the artists and the audience. As the paintings come to life, the audience watches in anticipation of the next brush stroke and bold colour choice. Who will be the winner?
Registration begins onsite at 10 am. Spots are limited for each time slot.
What is a Family Paint Challenge?
A family paint challenge is a live painting competition! Each challenge will consist of anywhere from 5 from 8 families. Each family will receive a canvas, paint and a mix of brush sizes and will be asked to create a painting together. Teamwork is emphasized and will be taken into consideration when choosing a winning team. A large McMichael reproduction selected from an exhibition on view will serve as the inspiration image and families will have 20 minutes to paint furiously and try to take the crown! Participants will be painting in acrylic paint on an 18×24 canvas.
