In the afternoon\, artist Zachari Logan will discuss his new book of ekphrastic poems and drawings\, Green—“poems that pulse with vegetal sensitivity\, moving between alleyways and art history\, between inner monologue and ecological longing”—and share selected readings before leading a plant walk through the grounds alongside McMichael gardener Kim Magee. \nIn 2017\, Logan was artist-in-residence in the iconic Tom Thomson Shack\, creating work from discarded plants found on the grounds.
