Combining the words \u201cfashion,\u201d \u201cpersonality,\u201d and \u201cnationality,\u201d it reflects the interplay between clothing, identity, and culture. The exhibition surrounded this theme, and explored the work of twenty-three contemporary Canadian artists who employed apparel as a primary medium, subject or sign. Reflecting wide geographic and cultural diversity, Fashionality picked up these threads and considered the many artists who have turned to apparel for its expressive qualities.
