data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">2025,\u00a0is part of Monkman\u2019s\u00a0new\u00a0Knowledge Keeper series, a body of work examining the history and enduring impact of Canada\u2019s residential school system. Drawing inspiration from Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Millet\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The Gleaners<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,\u00a01857, Monkman reimagines the scene with three Indigenous\u00a0boys,\u00a0wearing residential school uniforms, at work in a field at dusk.
