Join instructor\u00a0Sandra\u00a0Tarantino for an art workshop to create your own Neverland-inspired flying figure \u2013 your imagination is the limit!\u00a0In this hands-on workshop participants will work with wire, tape, tissue and more mixed media to create hanging figures that can soar in any indoor setting.\u00a0Participants will be inspired by the DuffleBag Theatre performance of\u00a0Peter Pan<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/a>.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Join this interactive storytelling circle where children and families will discover fun and fascinating stories behind some of the McMichael\u2019s most beloved winter-themed artworks.<\/span><\/p>\n

This in-person tour of the permanent collection and special exhibitions focuses on some of the all-time favourites from the McMichael\u2019s collection of Canadian art including paintings by Group of Seven and their contemporaries, Inuit and Indigenous art, and outstanding contemporary art by rising talents.<\/span><\/p>\n

But when an adventurous young boy offers to fly her to Neverland where she can stay young forever, Wendy is catapulted into an adventure filled with magic pixies, charming pirates, and talking trees! As Peter Pan battles his arch-nemesis Captain Hook in DuffleBag Theatre\u2019s fun version of J.M. Barrie\u2019s beloved classic, even grown-ups will feel like kids again!<\/span><\/p>\n
