Join us for a full day of storytelling, music, outdoor learning, and hands-on artmaking for all ages in recognition and celebration of the history, heritage, and living cultures of First Nations, Inuit, and M\u00e9tis peoples.<\/span><\/p>\n

Explore Indigenous knowledge of the land through interactive workshops and gallery experiences inspired by the natural landscape of the Humber River Valley. The day culminates with\u00a0<\/span>Walking Through the Fire<\/span><\/i>, a powerful multimedia performance featuring acclaimed world music ensemble Sultans of String alongside Indigenous artists and special guests from across Turtle Island<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n

Create a mixed-media pouch inspired by Indigenous\u00a0botanical\u00a0knowledge and traditions of carrying medicines.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Using oil pastels and collage materials, participants will make artwork celebrating a\u00a0favourite\u00a0medicinal plant.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
