The McMichael is seeking a part time IT/AV Assistant to provide support to staff with their on-site computers and remote connectivity and to support a seamless setup of for staff and/or clients who are doing on-site talks and presentations.

The IT / AV Assistant will help with computer setups and computer troubleshooting for staff on their daily needs, and deal with network issues, password control and 2-factor VPN authentications. The ability to support networked printers and all-in-one devices, operate multimedia devices (i.e. digital cameras, projectors and alike) is required. Experience with DVD/Blue-ray devices and sound systems is an asset; strong experience with home audio-visual equipment supports this role.  The successful candidate must have knowledge of Outlook 365 suite of programs. Good service skills and the ability to train staff on connectivity procedures is required. Hours of work is 21 hours per week and includes some weekends for key events. Rate of pay: $20-$22.00/hour.
