WHO CAN ENTER:
This contest is open to all legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who are at least 18 years of age. Employees of the McMichael Canadian Art Collection (McMichael), their subsidiaries and affiliated companies and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, advertising or promotional agencies, and persons with whom any of the foregoing are domiciled are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
CONTEST PERIOD:
The contest will run from October 12 to October 25, 2017.
HOW TO ENTER:
There is no fee or purchase necessary to enter. To qualify, entrants must fill out an online ballot and correctly answer the skill-testing question on the online form. Each entrant is entitled to one (1) entry.
An entry is considered eligible when:
The online ballot and skill-testing question on the online form is answered correctly and completely.
The entrant meets and agrees to all the requirements as outlined in the contest rules and regulations.
WINNER SELECTION – RANDOM DRAW:
One (1) entry will be selected in a random draw among all eligible entries (see above). The draw will be conducted by NOW Communications Inc.
PRIZE:
One (1) winner will receive two (2) general admission passes to the McMichael and a copy of the beautiful Alex Janvier exhibition catalogue. Total value is $76. Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable. No substitutions of prizes are permitted except by the McMichael. All prizes will be awarded.
DECLARED WINNERS:
Each winner’s entry will be judged to have met the requirements by NOW Communications and the McMichael. NOW Communications and the McMichael reserve the right to require proof of age and jurisdiction of residence prior to awarding any prize.
WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT:
The winner will be announced by NOW Communications once the contest period has ended. The selected winner will be required to acknowledge by phone or email his or her receipt of notification of prize eligibility. If no response is received within ten (10) business days of notification, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes must be picked up at the McMichael within sixty (60) days of when the winner is notified. The winner must contact the McMichael three (3) business days prior to picking up the prize.

SHIPPING:
If necessary, the McMichael will ship each prize within ten (10) business days of receiving confirmation from the selected eligible winner. Each prize will be shipped via general Canada Post delivery within Canada only. The McMichael is not responsible for any damage incurred to the prize in the shipping process or for any delay in delivery due to Canada Post service disruptions. Winners are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of all taxes, if any, that may result in claiming a prize in this contest.
GENERAL:
Entries in any way tampered with, forged, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, photocopied or mechanically reproduced, or submitted by or through fraudulent means, may be disqualified, at the sole discretion of NOW Communications and the McMichael. This includes any entry that does not comply with these contest rules in any respect.
Decisions of the McMichael are final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment in respect to this contest. The McMichael reserves the right at any time to withdraw this contest or to modify, amend, or supplement these rules, in its sole discretion, subject to applicable law.
By participating in this contest, the entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these official rules.
By participating in this contest, the entrants consent to the use by NOW Communications and the McMichael of their full name to post online, in e-newsletters, and other social media sites, on www.mcmichael.com, and in other media for the promotion of the contest and/or the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, without further permission or compensation, except where prohibited by law.
By participating in this contest, the winner consents to the use by NOW Communications and the McMichael of their name, hometown, age, and personal photograph (if so requested) for any lawful purpose, without further permission or compensation, except where prohibited by law.
By participating in this contest, each participant agrees to release and hold NOW Communications and the McMichael, their subsidiaries and affiliated companies and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with this contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
Any issues concerning the validity, interpretation or enforceability of these official rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and the McMichael, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
