Program Description

Working with some of the best female and male models on the circuit, Artist Andrew Sookrah will begin with a tour of the basics to build a foundation from which the imagination will soar to incredible heights as the class expresses it’s varying degrees of abstracting the human form.

Andrew will lead with live demonstrations in acrylic, watercolour and water mixable oil; and guide with encouragement as the class creates in the medium and style of their choice. This will be a fun and productive time in the always-inspiring Pine Cottage!

About the Artist

Andrew Sookrah is a professional artist and an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour, the Society of Canadian Artists, the Ontario Society of Artists, and the Portrait Society of Canada. He uses a combination of painting demonstrations and individual guidance to create a fun, supportive and collaborative atmosphere in the McMichael’s studio.

Level: Open to all skill levels. Our experienced instructor will adapt his teaching style to his students’ experience.
