Worlds on Paper: Drawings from Kinngait

Dreaming Forward: Contemporary Drawings from Kinngait

This tour explores the once-in-a-generation exhibition of more than 200 works that foreground the cultural continuities of life in Kinngait in the face of dramatic societal change over more than five decades. This exhibition reveals overlooked bodies of work by some of the country’s most beloved artists including Kenojuak Ashevak, Pitseolak Ashoona, Kananginak Pootoogook, and Pudlo Pudlat and introduces audiences to hitherto unknown artists whose work was suppressed by the aims of the print program that prioritized the tastes of settler markets in the South.

Derek Sullivan: Field Notes

John Scott: Firestorm

Experience two compelling exhibitions by Toronto-based artists whose practices speak powerfully to their time and place. This guided tour examines the high-contrast, politically charged imagery of John Scott: Firestorm and the intricate, conceptually layered pencil drawings of Derek Sullivan: Field Notes. Together, these exhibitions offer dynamic insights into the role of drawing in contemporary Canadian art.
