Michie Mee, Canada’s Queen of hip hop, and Big Tweeze in conversation about her rise to fame, the emergence of Toronto as a hip hop epicenter, and her various experiences navigating the recording industry. The conversation will be followed by a live performance.
Following the success of previous intimate Acoustic Conversations, which intertwine conversations and a live performance, the McMichael continues with a series that will provide an in-depth look at the development of the hip hop scene in Toronto. Behind the hype, the videos, and hip hop’s ubiquitous presence are the musical geniuses on stage as well as behind the mixing boards. Producers and Sound Engineers not only make each song precise but work closely with artists to create unique sonic compositions. The conversations will be moderated by Big Tweeze a.k.a Anthony Corsi, Producer and Co-host of Views Before the Six.
Please note: the tickets for all Acoustic Conversations include Gallery Admission that day.
