Reflections on Colour:
Art & Nature Meditation Workshop
Sunday, July 21
12:30 – 3:30 pm
About the workshop
Join a unique stress-relieving workshop inspired by the Japanese tradition of shinrin yoku (forest bathing). The workshop begins with an instructor-led silent meditation walk on the McMichael’s grounds in the Humber River Vallery, followed by a post-walk conversation in which participants may, if they choose, share their observations. Following a break, the group will tour the exhibition Maud Lewis, after which participants will be encouraged to express their thoughts and emotions in an acrylic painting studio.
