Mixed Media Robin Collage

In this simple art activity, we are going to be creating a paper cut-out of a robin standing in a small puddle surrounded by beautiful spring flowers. We will create the robin using coloured construction paper glued on top of our watercolour background.

*If you do not have a watercolour palette, you can either use construction paper cut-outs or pencil crayons where we use our watercolour palette.

Materials list:

  • Watercolour paper (normal paper will work fine as well)
  • Colored construction paper
  • Watercolour palette
  • Pencil
  • Paintbrush
  • Gluestick
  • Scissors
  • Pencil crayons, markers OR pastels (if you’d like to add more detail)
