Follow along on a virtual tour of Generations: The Sobey Family and Canadian Art to learn about one family’s visionary engagement with Canadian and Indigenous art. This once -in-a-lifetime exhibition examines unexpected pairings from a variety of artists throughout history, from Cornelius Krieghoff and Kent Monkman to Arthur Lismer and Emily Carr,
This free interactive experience gives you the opportunity to examine images of artworks up close from the comfort of your home. We encourage you to take one of these informative virtual tours prior to visiting the exhibition in person. Each 60-minute tour will be limited to 40 participants per session to allow for questions and discussion, so please register to ensure your spot.
An internet connection, microphone and camera-enabled computer, tablet or smartphone is required. The virtual tour will be delivered via the video conferencing app Zoom. You do not require a Zoom account to participate; the link to access the tour will be sent to you in advance.
