Join us for a special afternoon with artist and poet Zachari Logan, celebrating his newly published book, Green.
Green is an evocative collection of ekphrastic and diaristic poetry paired with luminous, green-toned sketches, created during Logan’s global travels. From iconic artworks and timeless architecture to wild flora and fauna, Logan’s beautifully rendered artwork and thoughtful poetry invite us to pay attention to the wonder in our world.
This special program will feature a conversation with McMichael Deputy Chief Curator Jennifer Withrow, followed by a reading by Logan.
After the talk, guests are welcome to join Logan and McMichael gardener Kim Magee for a plant walk through the gallery grounds.
