Remembrance Day at the McMichael

Join the McMichael as it celebrates the commemoration of Remembrance Day with a smudging and prayer ceremony with Ian Akiwenzie (Ojibwe Pottawatami), followed by a performance by two-time world hoop dance champion Lisa Odjig (Odawa Ojibwe).

The performance will be followed by a tour in celebration of Confederation in Ontario 150 years ago. The tour will focus on the impact of war through the works of Tom Thomson one year before the Armistice, and in the 100th year anniversary of his death.
