Virtual Tour of Indigenous Art at the McMichael
Thursdays and Saturdays
12:30 to 1:30 pm
You’re invited to join a virtual guided tour and learn about some of the Indigenous art currently on view at the McMichael. Follow along through the gallery spaces and get up close to works by Norval Morrisseau, Brenda Draney and other artists. Then, enjoy a tour of some of the many sculptures on the gallery grounds.
This new interactive experience provides visitors with the opportunity to examine images of artworks up close while remaining responsibly distanced in their own homes. The free, virtual 60-minute tour is offered on Thursdays and Saturdays at 12:30 pm, and will be limited to 30 participants to allow for questions and discussion, so please register to ensure your spot.
An internet connection, microphone and camera-enabled computer, tablet or smartphone is required. The virtual tour will be delivered via the video conferencing app Zoom. You do not require a Zoom account to participate; the link to access the tour will be sent to you in advance.
How to join: Once you have registered for the tour you will be sent an email with all necessary information and details about how to access the tour online. If you have any questions please contact our Creative Learning Department.
