“I found it engaging and really liked watching the demo by Andrew. I felt quite engaged—in some ways even more so than in face-to-face classes as I felt I could see “up close” what Andrew was doing in terms of paint mixing and brush strokes”
This online class will be taught live through the Zoom platform by artist Andrew Sookrah and will allow artists to refine their technique in the subjects and styles of their choice. Sookrah will offer live demonstrations of watercolours, water-mixable oils and acrylics as well as guidance on artists’ projects. Topics covered include mastering perspective, reflections in water, patterns, texture, skies and clouds, dramatic light, depth and negative space, with special attention given to basic drawing techniques such as composition, colour, texture and effective brushstrokes.
