    In-Person Oil Painting Weekend with Judy Sherman

    This in-person weekend program will offer artists of all skill levels an intensive weekend of study in oil painting technique.  Artist Judy Sherman will cover a wide range of skills, including how to understand values, composition, colour, shape, form, and lighting, as well as how to apply effective brush techniques and more. Through demonstrations, painting exercises, and one-on-one feedback, students will learn to view and analyze the world as a visual artist.  Sherman will guide participants through basic techniques and explain how they can apply finishing touches to take their work to the next level.
