Concert and Dance Workshop by Cassie & Maggie
Dance Workshop: 12:30 to 1:15 pm
Concert: 2 to 3 pm
Come join award-winning traditional dancers, Cassie and Maggie MacDonald, as we delve into the fun and energetic world of Nova Scotian step and square dancing! We’ll learn the basic steps that accompany this lively musical tradition and end the workshop with an authentic Nova Scotian square set. NO prior experience required, all levels welcome!
Nova Scotian sisters Cassie and Maggie have been lighting up the world with their unique blend of traditional and contemporary Celtic instrumentals and vocals. Appearing on stages across North America, the UK, and Europe the sisters have enchanted audiences far and wide with lively fiddle, piano and guitar arrangements, stunning sibling vocal harmonies in both English and Gaelic, all complemented by their intricate and percussive stepdancing style.
Drop-in Art Workshop

This collective drop-in workshop will have families and friends working together to recreate a miniature version of Maud’s iconic green and white shingled house!
