ArtVenture Winter Camp | Ages 6 to 12

December 20 to 23 | 9 am to 5 pm

Fee: $320 General Public; $272 McMichael Members (15% savings)

Groups limited to 15 participants.

Led by experienced art instructors, this camp will offer a unique opportunity to creatively celebrate the season and discover some of the artworks on view at the McMichael. While studio activities will be the central focus of this camp, short outdoor hikes and gallery visits, before the Gallery opens to the public, will further enhance this exceptional winter break experience.

Program information:

  • Program runs from 9 am to 5 pm
  • Drop-off between 8:45 and 9 am
  • Pick-up between 4:45 and 5 pm
  • Before/after care is not available for this camp

A Typical Day at Camp:

8:45 to 9 am Drop off
9 am to 12 pm Campers are in studio, in the gallery and/or outdoors
Snack break offered mid-morning
12 to 1 pm Lunch
1 to 4:45 pm Campers are in studio, in the gallery and/or outdoors
Snack break offered mid-afternoon
4:45 to 5 pm Pick up

Health and Safety:

The health and safety of our participants and staff remain our top priority. In the event that York Region returns to a level of the new provincial public health framework that requires a gallery closure, the McMichael will follow the directives and advice of public health authorities and cancel all remaining in-person sessions. Parents and guardians will be offered a full refund for any remaining sessions their child is unable to attend.
