About the concert
A beguiling teller of tales and master guitarist, Stephen Fearing presents an afternoon of music and stories that reflect his love of Canada’s East Coast. The multi-Juno award winner and co-founder of Blackie and The Rodeo Kings lived in Halifax for almost a decade, and both his life and music were impacted dramatically by his time in Nova Scotia. Stephen will share with the audience his deep connection to the area’s rich history and celebrated artistic community.

About the artist
Born in Vancouver and raised in Dublin, Stephen Fearing has released nine albums as a solo artist and is a recipient of multiple Juno and Canadian Folk Music Awards. In 1996, Fearing co-founded the Canadian super-group Blackie and The Rodeo Kings with Colin Linden and Tom Wilson. After 20 years together and nine albums to their credit, the band has become one of the most respected names in North American roots-rock-Americana music. Fearing also released two albums and toured as one half of the duo Fearing & White, with fellow Irish son Andy White.
