Inspired by the whimsical art of Gathie Falk, join us for a day of discovery and anything-goes creativity. Try your hand at papier-mâché and create a sculpture as wild as your imagination to join in a playful art parade through the McMichael’s gardens. Then enjoy a live music performance, and finish you visit with an outdoor tea party!

Drop-in Papier-Maché Workshop: The World of Colours and Textures
Location: Pine Cottage

Developed and led by artist and educator Olivia Wallace, this hands-on workshop will show you how to make a sculpture in papier-mâché from start to finish. Inspired by the fantastical hanging cabbage sculptures and piles of shiny apples in the exhibition Gathie Falk: Revelations the only limits are your imagination! Everyone is invited to join in in the Sculpture Parade at 1:45, so be sure to come early so that your creation dries in time for the festivities! All materials provided.
