Abstract Imagination
Inspired by Canadian artist Bertram Brooker’s sensory explorations, this Family Sunday will explore how the artist skillfully used colour, line, shape, and texture to create compositions that evoke sounds, music and other sensory feelings. Plus don’t miss a delightful performance by Catch me In the Kitchen, reminding us that in all recipes the most important ingredient is imagination!

Location: Gallery 8

Catch Me in the Kitchen Story Adventures is a unique combination of storytelling and physical theatre that brings to life two classic fairy tales, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Lupus Maximus and the Three Little Pigs, in unconventional ways. Told in English but infused with French vocabulary, this performance originated in a fun and music-filled kitchen, reminding us that with a zest of imagination magic can be found in the most ordinary places. Written and performed by Ginette Mohr and Stephen LaFrenie.
