TELL ME A STORY, DRAW ME A BOOK

There’s nothing quite like cozying up with a good book and a hot beverage during the chilly autumn months. October’s Family Sunday is inspired by the literary arts! Learn how illustrators bring stories to life through visual art, from traditional drawing and paintings to collage and mosaic. Inspired by a lesser-known collection of illustrated stories by beloved artist Emily Carr, the McMichael will offer story telling sessions and drop-in family art workshops. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet Catherine Wilson, author of Emily Carr and Raven: In the Darkness of her Dreams and Eulalie’s Journey to Algonquin with Tom Thomson.
